With high values on curiosity and collaboration this office fit out designed by Hames Sharley and constructed by Mossop Constructions + Interiors, meant that providing readily available spaces which support collaboration was essential.Workspace manufactured custom booths, chairs, boardroom table and ottomans all to support various meeting zones.

The University of Sydney  Lees Building in NSW consolidates the School of Molecular Biology and School of Biological Sciences within the Faculty of Science. A 7 level, USYD Sustainability Framework ‘Silver’ rated educational facility. The project is the first phase of a broader Life and Physical Sciences consolidation. The workstations featured custom made frameless screen, with ABS edging strip.

Investigate, expose and minimise corruption in the NSW public sector, this is the role of the ICAC. The new workplace and public hearing rooms at 255 Elizabeth Street provided a conceptual response in the built form to the core function of the commission.

Through heavy sloping walls, the juxtaposition of light and dark, layered vs raw, and creative lighting, the design was purposely modeled to represent the concept of ICAC – shining the light on corruption, and making the process transparent to the public of NSW in its built form. The incorporation of the ‘streetlight’ in all main internal circulation corridors, added an animated visual interpretation of ICAC, whilst functioning as a custom designed tool for power/ data reticulation. A dynamic spatial arrangement showcased the large Public Hearing Room reinforcing this concept of ‘transparency’.

The new Department of Education NSW office implemented the first totally open plan office design for the HR division with a variety of formal and informal support and meeting spaces to support their new collaborative work processes.

References to the core mission and values of the HR division within the Deptartment of Education NSW were integrated in to the design with school references such as hand print film on glass graphics and colourful coat hooks in a feature wall at the entries alluding to class rooms and children. Historical references to Blacktown were investigated and also incorporated in to the new design via feature graphics in meeting rooms and staff breakout areas to tie the fit out in to its locality.

Home Loan Experts are a dynamic, young team with a back office in Nepal. The brief was to connect the two offices by bringing ‘Nepal’ to the Rhodes fitout. This was created through the use of large full-wall graphics of photos from Nepal, with some of the photos taken by one of the Nepalese staff who is also a keen photographer.

For a leading private property group, the fit-out was to embody ‘building, solid, past, future, prosperity, and high performance’. Translated in the built form through the incorporation of a key component in construction, the I Beam! The literal interpretation resulted in ‘purity and simplicity’ exemplifying the client’s core values and brief.

AFL Max is Australia's first immersive AFL skills and entertainment center and recently opened in Adelaide. AFL Max boasts a range of activities including indoor rock-climbing walls, massive trampolines, virtual reality, an indoor AFL field, climbing tower, bump course, giant slide and more. At AFL Max players and fans of AFL get to test themselves against bespoke kicking, passing, fitness and tackling activations to enhance their skills. There is nothing else like it anywhere in Australia, it has been designed for whole of the community use where the common bond is a love of Australian rules football.

Located less than 12 km from Adelaide’s CBD, Windsor Gardens Day Surgery is a world-class, architecturally designed facility serving patients in the north eastern suburbs. Part of the 480 Specialist Centre, the day surgery is co-located with various other specialist healthcare providers, including Icon Cancer Care, Adelaide Cancer Care Partners, SA Group of Specialists and Eye Surgeons SA.
