Savills Australia

Savills Australia

Collaborating closely with Spectrum Australia Group, Workspace provided a range of furniture for the newly designed and built Savills Australia Melbourne headquarters. As one of the world’s leading property agencies with expertise in local and international property, Savills Australia chose the new premium building of the South Tower at 80 Collins Street. Alongside iconic luxury retailers and curated experiences, it is a new address that will engage the city, bringing to life a transformative new destination, be it day or night. Design, Build and project management was lead by Spectrum Group and collaborated closely with Workspace to achieve a dynamic and sophisticated environment.

Ian Potter Foundation

Ian Potter Foundation

Located in a Melbourne CBD Heritage building, the design for the Ian Potter Foundation marries tradition and vision, to create an authentically refined modern workplace that facilitates the long-standing history of encouraging excellence and supporting creative, innovative, and charitable work. Workspace collaborated with KHID and McCormack Property to bring the Ian Potter Foundation project alive.

Restricted by low ceilings, and a small and disjointed floor plate, the design tackled these challenges by focusing on three main spatial and experiential elements: reception and presentation, workspace and focused work, community and collaboration. Maximising the access to natural light in the workspace in addition to the application minimal and muted colours found in these spaces create a calm, focused space.

South Australian Housing Authority (SAHA) Riverside

South Australian Housing Authority (SAHA) Riverside

Workspace had the pleasure of working closely with Greenway Architects on the South Australian Housing Authority (SAHA) and Department of Human Services fit out.The project focused on creating a dynamic and adaptable working environment, including understanding the need for “Me space” and “We space”. From less than 8 meeting rooms across 6 floors, the design now provides for 125 separate areas for meeting and collaboration, from single person quiet rooms for focused work or online meetings, to cafes, informal and formal meeting rooms and spaces for up to 60 people, whilst at the same time increasing the total number of staff accommodated. Colour and pattern played an important part in defining space, creating identity and wayfinding bringing commonality across the floors, but individuality to workgroups.

St Aloysius College

St Aloysius College

Workspace had the pleasure of fitting out the St Aloysius College recent redevelopment with a range of bespoke educational and office furniture pieces. Leading the educational furniture space, Workspace provided a range of bespoke pieces for use within the general assembly area. Custom wooden boxed seating, bean bags and Hive ottomans make for a cozy but intuitive playing area for the students. Combining the tones and colours from the schools design with the textures and patterns within the furniture creates a seamless look which is both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
