SALES / PROJECT CONSULTANT - VIC / ACT / QLD

Workspace are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales/Project Consultant to join our various teams in Southbank Victoria, Fyshwick Canberra and Newstead, Brisbane.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You must have outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to present to key prospects as will the participation in business developmental activities. Experience in Key Account Management working directly with customers to achieve their office furniture fit out requirements, this role will also work closely with architects, interior designers, commercial builders and end users alike. Possessing a high-energy level, with plenty of drive and a definite customer service focus, you also will be responsible for the achievement of sales budgets.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively target new accounts, build relationships, provide product presentations and exceed client requirements

  • Effectively delivery account management to existing clients and projects requirements.

  • Be able to confirm the accuracy of proposed installations and other specifications with the clients, prior to creating an order.

  • Deliver a high level of project management fundamentals (mark up’s, take off’s, ordering and delivery/installation coordination)

  • Be a lateral and logical thinker, able to work without supervision.

  • Possess a high-energy level with plenty of drive

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in commercial product specification, sales and/or furniture preferred but not essential. An attractive remuneration incentive package including Base Salary, Car Allowance, Commission etc. is available and negotiable.

FURNITURE INSTALLER - VIC & NSW & QLD

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking people to deliver and install our workstation and office furniture systems within our Victorian, New South Wales, Brisbane and South Australian Branches. The installer will be based out of our Warehouses in each location.

You will be self-motivated, flexible in hours as workload demand changes and possess excellent time management with overtime opportunities available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You should be fit and healthy and the holder of a current driver’s licence.

  • Previous skills in the assembly of commercial products within the office furniture industry is preferable but not essential as training will be given.

  • The holder of Construction Industry White Card is necessary.

  • This position requires on site liaising with clients; therefore, an appropriate disposition is a pre-requisite.

A person with previous experience within the Furniture Industry is preferred but not essential.

SA DESPATCH LOADER/INSTALLER

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for someone to join our Despatch Team located in our Manufacturing Facility in South Australia. The worker will be required to assist with the loading and delivery of our furniture throughout South Australia along with the loading of the furniture onto our interstate semi’s.

This opportunity involves dealing with our clients (so an appropriate disposition and communication is required) as well as dealing with our internal people. The holder of SA Driver’s Licence is required.

We are seeking an Assembler/Cabinetmaker or the equivalent with knowledge in the assembly of commercial and hospitality range of furniture.

INTERSTATE TRUCK DRIVER

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have a vacancy available within our Interstate Delivery Team for an Interstate Truck Driver. The successful applicant should be fit and healthy and the holder of a current HC truck licence.

You will be based in South Australia, as trips are from and to our Manufacturing Facility in Adelaide, to our Eastern States based Showrooms with the successful applicant based in Adelaide. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A minimum 2 years’ experience in interstate furniture deliveries is required with a proven safe and compliant driving history. This position offers an opportunity to see our clients first hand; therefore an appropriate disposition is essential.
