Workspace Commercial Furniture are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our head office in Melrose Park, South Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce detailed cutting lists

  • Create Shop Drawings

  • Order necessary materials required for production

  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders per Planning and Design requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A person with a trade background along with basic computing skills would be deemed necessary to fulfill this position. Experience with CAD packages in particular exposure to Pytha would be an advantage.

ADMINISTRATION CLERK

Workspace Commercial Furniture are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our head office in Melrose Park, South Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a full time Administration Clerk to join our Head Office Administration team based at Melrose Park. The ideal applicant would be professionally presented and possess excellent administration skills. This position would suit someone who is energetic, passionate and can thrive in this challenging multi-faceted role with the ability to confidently liaise with internal clients both in SA and with our interstate branches.

You must have good communication skills with excellent time management capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A member of the Production Control Administration Team including, in part, raising of Works Orders, Invoicing, Despatch Noting and Support to the Production Manager

  • Back up to other team members within the Production Admin Team along with involvement of aspects of the Finance Admin Team also.

 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

To be eligible for this position the successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy with Outlook, Word and Excel and a current driver’s licence.

We are seeking someone to deliver and install our workstation and office furniture systems within our Victorian Branch with the Warehouse based in Port Melbourne. You will be self-motivated, flexible in hours as workload demand changes and possess excellent time management with overtime opportunities available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You should be fit and healthy and the holder of a current driver’s licence.

  • Previous skills in the assembly of commercial products within the office furniture industry is preferable but not essential as training will be given.

  • The holder of Construction Industry White Card is necessary.

  • This position requires on site liaising with clients; therefore, an appropriate disposition is a pre-requisite.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A person with previous experience within the Furniture Industry is preferred but not essential.

AGED & HEALTH CARE PROJECT CONSULTANT – NSW

Workspace Commercial Furniture are seeking an experienced Aged/Health Care sales/project consultant to join the NSW Rosebery branch.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll need more than just skills to succeed at Workspace—you’ll need to love providing solutions for our customers. You will love working with designers and end users in the Aged and Health Care sector. You will also be a self-starter who enjoys the challenge of reaching for your limits every day. And when you need help, an experienced team of helpful technical experts are there to assist.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively target new accounts, build relationships, provide product presentations and exceed client requirements.

  • Effective deliver account management to existing clients and projects requirements.

  • Be able to confirm the accuracy of proposed installations and other specifications with the clients, prior to creating an order.

  • Be a lateral and logical thinker, able to work without supervision.

  • Possess a high-energy level with plenty of drive

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in Aged and Healthcare product specification, sales and/or furniture is preferred but not essential.

INSTALLATION AND DELIVERIES COORDINATOR - NSW

 Since our inception in 1911, Workspace Commercial Furniture, have manufactured and sold an extensive, quality range of systems and contract furniture. We have a position available within our showroom and warehouse based in Rosebery. The successful applicant will:

  • Be responsible for the coordination and of deliveries and installations with our local and interstate teams

  • Liaise with clients over the delivery of our furniture

  • Possess strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities

  • Be a lateral and logical thinker, able to work without supervision

  • Possess a high energy level, with plenty of drive and an ability to thrive in a busy working environment

  • Have a hands-on ability in the sorting of furniture within the warehouse prior to delivery.

  • Monitoring and updating of WH&S Policies within the delivery and store area

  • Possess high energy level, with plenty of drive and definite staff and customer service focus.

  • Take a quality approach, and work with NSW Manager to develop operational improvements

We have a vacancy available within our Interstate Delivery Team for an Interstate Truck Driver. The successful applicant should be fit and healthy and the holder of a current HC truck licence. Trips are from and to our Manufacturing Facility in Adelaide, to our Eastern States based Showrooms with the successful applicant based in Adelaide.
