In the heart of the Adelaide Hills in Mount Barker, Oakfield Rise Retirement Estate is Southern Cross Care's newest retirement village.

With a range of fully detached 2 and 3 bedroom villas overlooking the communal community centre, Oakfield Rise delivers remarkable spaces. The Oakfield Rise community centre is the centre of the Retirement village and the design and construction reflects this. The centre hosts multiple functions including entry, offices, gymnasium, library, games room, meeting rooms, lounge, dining, café, kitchen and external alfresco areas. Each element has been carefully designed to help Oakfield Rise residents enjoy a great quality of life with each other, their friends and families.

Workspace are proud to showcase the completion of their latest Aged Care project; the major redevelopment of Uniting SA Westminster Village Aged Care facility. The facility located in Grange SA, boasts a stunning 101-bed village and boasts a warm and welcoming feel.

A new 37-bed wing featuring private rooms with en-suites, modern communal lounges, dining and activity areas has been constructed over the past 12 months. Internal courtyards and a large undercover patio have also formed part of the project, in addition to environmentally friendly features such as a 100k solar system.

UnitingSA West Lakes, which opened in April 2021, is an innovative development putting older people at the heart of a vibrant established community.

LHI Retirement Services Community center at Glynde, South Australia recently underwent an extreme transformation to create a quality, warm and welcoming community center for the residents of South Australia. The project, consisting of a new Community Centre, Kitchen, Meeting Hall, Outdoor Social Engagement area, Church Refurbishment, delivers crucial facilities and infrastructure upgrades for the busy site. 

The Carlyle on Cross is Premier Health Care’s newest facility. Previously operating as Ridge Park at Myrtle Bank, the facility has had a significant refurbishment and now offers luxury residential aged care. Working closely with Premier Health, Workspace provided a range of aged care products to ensure a warm and homely feel is achieved throughout.

Benetas St George’s provides care tailored to each resident around the clock by experienced, qualified staff. Surrounded by large, beautiful gardens, residents of St George’s have ample places to go and spend some quiet time either on their own or with family and friends.

Carmelite Senior Living in SA offers residents and visitors an outstanding range of amenities and services, to complement the exquisite accommodation and convenient location.

The North Eastern Community Aged Care Home provides high care permanent and high care respite accommodation facilities for 84 residents. The facility forms a part of the North Eastern Community Hospital Inc. The Aged Care home offers residents single and share rooms, with adjoining shared ensuite facilities. Residents are provided with an environment of comfort, dignity and security. They receive contemporary quality care in both the medical and nursing fields within the resources available.

Workspace recently had the pleasure of working with WoodsBagot on the Uniting Communities, U City Project which developed a community for retirement residences, specialist disability accommodation as well as accessible serviced apartments, function center, and offices. The U City project is a major city development for the Adelaide CBD, as the $100-million, 20 story building is now officially open!

Nestled just a few minutes from the heart of Adelaide, ECH Clarence Gardens is a modern office space for its employees and visitors alike. ECH’s purpose “To be an enterprise that promotes self-determination and enables people to have the best life possible as they age” is built firmly upon ECH's historic foundations.

As aged care is a passion at Workspace, it was wonderful to be involved in this project.

Situated close to the heart of the picturesque township of Mount Baker is the new state of the art residential care facility, Southern Cross Care - Oakfield Lodge.

The $23 million two-story aged care facility, features a variety of Workspace wing back arm chairs, dining room furniture and occasional furniture across 80 bedrooms, allied health services, commercial kitchen, café, activities shed and a hair dressing salon.

From an elevated Frankston South location, Benetas St Paul’s Terrace offers sweeping Port Phillip Bay and city views from open-air terraces. Providing an intimate home-like environment, Benetas St Pauls Terrace apartments are specifically designed for smaller groups of residents.

Benetas Aged Care recently engaged Design Art House to undertake the interior styling and decor for the refurbishment of their Broughton Hall facility which offers support for up to 65 residence.
