Workspace Commercial Furniture is proud to have contributed to the beautifully executed transformation of The George Hotel — a sophisticated new addition to Glenelg’s iconic beachfront and South Australia’s hospitality scene.

In collaboration with 1834 Hotels and key project partners, Workspace was entrusted with the design, manufacture, and installation of the hotel’s custom joinery and interior detailing — delivering a refined and cohesive look across all guest and public areas.

Our scope of work included the bulk of the hotel’s custom joinery, featuring:

• Robes and minibar units

• Floating vanities and daybeds

• Integrated desks and bedheads

• Wall panelling and bespoke room dividers

At Workspace Commercial Furniture, we are proud to have furnished the refurbished dining room at Linsell Lodge, a caring and supportive aged care home managed by The Salvation Army in Adelaide's northern suburbs. The goal was to create a space that not only serves functional purposes but also enhances the daily experiences of the residents, staff, and visiting families.

The dining area at Linsell Lodge has been transformed into a vibrant haven, designed to encourage social interaction and create a welcoming atmosphere for all. The furniture selections play a pivotal role in achieving this ambiance, combining style, comfort, and durability to meet the unique needs of the aged care environment.

Furniture that Brings Spaces to Life

The featured furniture includes custom-designed pieces, tailored to ensure ease of use and comfort for all users. Our chairs, with their ergonomic design and plush seating, offer support and accessibility, while the tables are crafted for safety and style. The colour palette reflects soothing green tones that harmonise with the natural light flooding in from the adjacent courtyard, enhancing the overall serenity of the space.

We don't just create furniture; we weave stories, emotions, and identities into every piece. Our recent venture on the Heffron Centre, the esteemed new home for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, stands as a testament to this philosophy.

Our commitment to Australian craftsmanship was showcased prominently in this project. Not only did we emphasise the quality and durability inherent to our designs, but we also incorporated thoughtful touches that resonate with the spirit of the Rabbitohs. Subtle yet significant, we infused the iconic Rabbitohs' colours into the furniture. These touches, while often understated, evoke a sense of pride, unity, and allegiance – mirroring the passion and fervor of the fans and the team.

Workspace recently worked with designer, Liquid Design, and project managers, TRICE, on the development of the ICHM Campus in the Adelaide CBD.

ICHM deliver a new way of thinking and new ways of learning for students whilst delivering a range of business and hospitality courses. With degrees including a Masters of Hotel Management, Bachelor of Business in Hospitality Management and Undergrad certificates in Hotel Management, Tourism and Hospitality Operations, ICHM educates a diverse range of domestic and international student cohorts.

Partnering with major hospitality venues and corporations such as Hyatt, IHG, Accor and TFE, ICHM students receive the most recent and relevant training and expertise to prepare them for real life scenarios in the industry.

Working closely with Liquid Design and ICHM Adelaide staff, Workspace provided a range of furniture solutions for ICHM's teaching studios, hospitality training spaces, open area workstations and all social areas nooks in-between.

Workspace recently completed the full fit-out for the Wyong Leagues Rugby Club sports bar. Working closely with Collaborative Constructions and EJE Architecture, Workspace provided stunning furniture for the iconic sports bar, appealing guests of all ages, backgrounds and identities. The furniture solutions provided were versatile to compliment the many areas of the bar as well as practical to provide comfortable seating solutions for all guests.

The Woolgoolga Diggers Club recently underwent a huge redevelopment of the external and internal features and Workspace was contacted to supply a range of hospitality furniture solutions.

The practical brief behind the Stage 1 redevelopment of the Woolgoolga RSL was to open up the space and create a sense of volume and connection between the spaces. Opening up the spaces allowed the club to feel light and expansive and welcome the customers into the numerous areas they have on offer.
