TAFE NSW
The Dunbar building was constructed in 1967 by the Government Architect's Office for UTS. The goal of the refurbishment and adaptive re-use of the building was to provide a major teaching facility to meet the long-term educational delivery needs of the Northern Sydney Institutes Southern Learning Gateway. The Dunbar building design establishes a "front of office" centre of excellence for Business, Community and Health Services. It also centralises support services, at a landmark address for the NSIT. The reinterpretation of the building was to take into account its historical circumstances and influence on the local environment and population.
