Sales Team // Mel Chrysostomou
Mel Chrysostomou joined Workspace Commercial Furniture from the property industry as a Project Consultant in 1998. Since that time he has been servicing the Interior Design industry and managing major accounts for Workspace which includes among others the Flinders Medical Centre, SA Power Networks, University of South Australia, and Santos.
The main focus of his role is in consultation with both clients and Interior Designers in delivering total office furniture solutions, particularly in regards to office workstation design. Mel has accumulated a diverse portfolio in both large and small scale projects with involvement from concept design through to project completion, ensuring successful outcomes.
In 2008 Mel joined the company’s Product Analysis Committee becoming heavily involved in the development of the Workspace product range. In that same year Mel was assigned to the Workspace Marketing team, who implemented an entirely new marketing strategy and focus for the company.
In 2009 Mel was appointed to the position of SA Commercial Sales Manager. Apart from his continuing role of servicing his client base and the Interior Design industry, Mel’s management expertise in overseeing the other SA based Project Consultants has resulted in consistent growth for Workspace in the SA market.
