The University of South Australia recently undertook a redevelopment of the Mawson Lakes campus. The Uni SA Mawson Lakes campus is nestled amongst engineering and tech companies within Technology Park, and compromises of industry-standard teaching and research facilities. The campus hosts many internationally-recognized research institutes and centers.

The Mawson Lakes campus features interactive learning spaces for engineering, specialist IT facilities including Mac and CISCO networking labs allowing it to be South Australia's largest IT school. The campus also have state of the art design, technology and science facilities.
