Naracoorte Library

Naracoorte Library officially opens their doors today, providing a revitalised building with open vibrant spaces, bringing the entire community together.

A full refurbishment and construction works were made to the original single story newspaper print facility, transforming it into a contemporary library building adjacent the Town Hall, integrating the two together with fresh new landscaping.

The works included new disability ramps, DDA access provisions, high level feature ceiling panels, glazed central atrium and acoustic perforated ply paneling to minimise any noise transfer within the spaces - after all it is a library!

Features of the new build included a large open space community room, children's play area, youth space, and historical collections area.

Workspace are thrilled to work in collaboration with Mossop Construction and Interiors, Naracoorte Lucindale Council and Brett Julian Architects to bring this welcoming and modern space to fruition for the wellbeing and enjoyment of the local community.
