Workspace Commercial Furniture General Manager, Tom Clark had the privilege of attending the World Business Forum 2015 on the 28th and 29th of May in Sydney. The annual conference brings together a variety of Australian and international business leaders, strategic thinkers and influencers.
The two day conference hosted at the Star Entertainment complex, saw a diverse mix of guest speakers and panelist. From acclaimed Director Oliver Stone talking about Leadership to Sarah Lewis delivering a session on Creativity, the conference had a topics of relevant for all attendees.
A highlight of the event was the one on one time with world renowned author and strategic thinker Tom Peters. In addition to Tom’s 2 hour passionate presentation about Strategy, Tom sat down with Workspace’s Tom Clark to talk about today’s business environment and future challenges. The key take out “Value, specifically the provision of value in all we do”, said Peters.
“From Workspace’s perspective it’s important to always monitor specific industry events and trends, our customers and their clients are our central pillar in business. They are the reason we exist. In attending events such as the World Business Forum, it provides our business an important and alternate view point to create improved value for all products and services we offer, especially Australian manufacturing”, Clark says.
