Trevu House, SA
The newly renovated Trevu House at Gawler, part of Japara Healthcare will provide an additional 23 residential aged care places in beautifully appointed accommodation, providing a home for 68 residents. Built in 1866, far from evoking the windswept Cornish landscape of its namesake, Trevu – with its position high on the hill, inspires calm with its tranquil surrounds. Preserving the look of the site and it’s many heritage listed features has been of paramount importance.
Workspace Commercial Furniture working under the design direction of Surround Interiors, manufactured a variety of standard and bespoke furniture requirements to completely refurbish the 68 resident rooms, lounge, dining rooms and quiet spaces. Furniture included a variety of solid timber, veneer and bespoke joinery. In addition, a variety of tables, chairs, side tables, lounges and arm chairs will both collective and private spaces. Resident rooms were provided a full bedroom furniture package.
Workspace was pleased to also offer custom furniture solutions as part of the refurbishment of the heritage listed original Trevu House.
