2019 Workspace Awards – Wrap Up

The Workspace Awards 2019, goes from strength to strength in 2019!

The 2019 awards program culminated its 12 months journey in a visual feast of celebration, design and industry participation at Beta Bar Sydney on Friday 18th of October. A full house of entrants, design participants, industry partners shared the ambiance of a truly amazing space at Beta Bar, and enjoyed the fantastic MC skills of Jarrod Walsh to bring the program shortlist entrants and winners to life.

This year’s awards saw a truly national representation, with entrants across all categories and from across the country.  A 300% increase across all category entries and 80% increase in new entrants, ensured the quality and quantity of entrants was simply exceptional. Judges had both a thorough and detailed job to ultimately chose shortlisted entrants and of course winners.

The inclusion of new categories, Sustainability and Emerging Designer and the expansion into a Residential Category ensured the continued growth and diversification of the awards base.

“We were thrilled to be part of the Workspace Awards this year -a really generous & well considered awards program. At the presentation night in Sydney we had the opportunity to meet product suppliers, sponsors & other designers. Building new friendships & future working relationships. Winning an award was a huge honour & we were flattered to be amongst so many stand out projects work across a range of categories.

Thank you Workspace! “ – Ben Edwards from Studio Edwards.

The program which is now in its third full year, aims to deliver a truly independent awards program, and with it the opportunity for independent design, small, medium and large firms alike to participate on a level playing field, ensuring Australian design excellence can be at the forefront.

On behalf of Workspace Commercial Furniture we thank all of our Workspace Awards 2019 partners, for without true partnership we cannot seek to grow, “Tom Clark, Workspace CEO”. Workspace looks forward to continuing the programs growth in 2020. Special thanks to:
